Celebrating LA Pride Month 2020 Virtually

This month marks the 50th anniversary of the first LGBTQ+ Pride Month. LA’s first pride march was held on June 28, 1970 – on the first anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, which saw the gay community protesting police brutality. Fast forward 50 years and LA Pride has swelled to hundreds of thousands of participants and has expanded from one day to a month’s worth of activities. While unfortunately we won’t be able to get together in West Hollywood this year, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture and we’ve picked a few activities that we’re looking forward to this month.
