Commonly referred to as the City of Champions, Inglewood, is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California. It’s bordered by Westchester on the West, Gardena on the East, View Park on the North, and Hawthorne on the South. Inglewood’s location near the 405 and 105 freeways and the major thoroughfares of La Cienega and La Brea Boulevards makes it convenient to almost everything on the west side of Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles International airport. Adding to this convenience is L.A. Metro’s new Crenshaw/LAX Line, which will connect Inglewood to areas further North and East when it opens in 2021.

Inglewood is fast becoming the mecca of sports and entertainment of Los Angeles with the opening of the Sofi Stadium, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers in September. The Stadium will also host marquee college football games as well as the 2028 Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies. The remaining Hollywood Park development will include apartments and townhouses, luxury hotel and cinema, office space, retail and restaurants.

The NBA is also coming to town via The Los Angeles Clippers. The team recently received approval for their new 18,500-seat arena and construction is due to start in the summer of 2021 and be completed by the 2024-25 NBA season. Last but certainly not least, The Forum plays host to some of the world’s biggest music artists.

But that’s not all. The LA Philharmonic’s Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry, will be opening their new facility in Inglewood in 2021. We’ve looked at the exciting plans here. Plus, the city has a thriving food scene that includes Italian, soul food and vegan fare. Check out our favorites in our blog.

Inglewood offers a myriad of real estate options ranging from pride of ownership, family-friendly neighborhoods including Century Heights, The Avenues, La Tijera Village and Morningside Park to gated communities such as The Renaissance, Carlton Square and Grace Park.

Suffice to say, Inglewood has it all. We have extensive experience in the area so if you have any questions or want to learn more, please get in touch today.
